I don't own a MediaVault, but a friend bought one. I went over to hook it up and get it going, and that mostly went OK.

I have a question about the simple backup. I went through and ticked off pictures, music, videos, etc, and had it run a backup. It looked like from what I read that the MV software monitors the folders that are checked and writes a new copy of files in the backup anytime one is changed? Am I understanding this correctly?

There did not seem to be any way to schedule a backup using that option, so I want to make sure I understand how this works. Can anyone help me out here?
