We have following Gaming Systems connected to our homes wireless network.

The Family Wii
My Daughters XBox 360
My Sons new Sony Playstation 3

My son recently started playing Call of Duty MW3.
This is the first time anyone has attempted online gaming.

Often times the Play Station will drop the network and refuse to connect again until the router has been factory restored.
All other devices in the house continue to work fine but, the Playstation will just throw network cannot be located errors.
After jacking with this for a couple of weeks, I decided to check the XBox and, Sure enough it also refuses to connect to network until router was factory restored.

I started suspecting that the two systems were conflicting with one another.
I have discovered that, If you power down and unplug the power cord on one system, the other system works fine with now issues at all.
If you have both connected you will have network problems.
I assigned static IP address to each and still found, if one is connected to the network the other system is not listed in the routers connected devices report.

Questions:

Is it this caused by interferance from sitting so close together in the same room?
Is it more likley to be an IP conflict issue?
Is there a way to connect both systems to the same network?

I am hoping that one of you knows the answers before I tear the entertainment room apart and start moving electronics to other rooms.
If it is an interferance problem, I guess I could move the XBox to the daughters room but, it kind of defeats the purpose of an entertainment room.

Regards
Chris

I've used Wii and Xbox on the same network, don't have a PS3. Given how many people have some or all of these, I'd more likely suspect a router issue. Try updating the firmware, or borrow a router to test with.

I can say for the ps3. Since they closed the network 1 plus years ago due to being hacked,
The network connection for the ps3 has never been the same,
It drops out all the time.
