I've been living with this 100% CPU usage for quite some time until I finally found the solution for the problem using Process Explorer from Microsoft ( https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sys ... lorer.aspx ) TO PREVENT 100% CPU caused by svchost.exe : Remote Desktop Connection into HP SERVER, go to Start, All Programs, Administrative Tools, Services, go to "Automatic Updates" service and change it to "manual". This simple change caused my server to go to a constant 100% CPU and slow back up to 20-30% CPU usage in general. Good luck all! |
