Is there anyway to install a modem on the mediaSmart? I would love to use the FAX SERVICE since I have a dedicated fax line.
If that doesnt work, anywya I can use a fax service to incorporate my WHS?

The MSS isn't your "typical pc" . . . Since there aren't any expansion slots, you could not add any type of "hardware" modem.....

The only option for you would probably be a USB modem on the server, so long as the driver for it supported Windows 2003.

Well I haven't tried it myself but yes. The MediaSmart comes with USB receptacles that will accept a USB modem. You'll need I believe to use Remote Desktop connection to enter the MediaSmart and enable the faxing service. I think it should work.
