Hi all,

So I found an EX470 which hadn't been used in years, tried to put it back in service and I think, made quite a few mistakes.
The issue was I didn't have the admin password, here's what I did :

Tried to modify the admin password using a well known tool to modify the register (I think) -> Corrupted WHS.
Repaired WHS using the CD I found with the server (WHS 2003, no mention of HP anywhere). I was then able to boot on WHS using my computer but not the mediasmart server.
I then tried to mess with the BIOS which didn't help but I think I was able to restore the default values.

Current situation : Mediasmart server stuck in boot loop. Recovery mode displays static red health light and server isn't found. System drive boots just fine on my PC.

Do you guys have any idea how I could fix the mess I made ?

Thank you all !

All I can say is the mediasmart server was never shipped with WHS 2003, It was WHS1.
Plus it could be the coin battery that failed for bios settings.
Password fix probably did not work.

The boot logo says Windows Server 2003 and in Windows it says Windows Server SP2... Maybe that's the issue here...
Will check this battery thing tomorrow

Thanks !
