I remember reading many moons ago of a keyboard sequence to alter the BIOS on a headless EX470. However, i cannot find it anywhere :( Can somebody direct me in the right direction please? Also, what needs to be changed in the BIOS reference the Raid etc? I think it is something to do with loading another OS but can't be sure.

Thanks in advance.

The Sequence I remember was posted by jrock and it was for resetting the BIOS on the EX470 for the Power Management Settings: viewtopic.php?t=609

If your looking to rest the EX470 back to Optimized Defaults I could fire up an EX470 and come up with a key stroke sequence or if there is something else your looking to do just let me know. Thing about blind keystrokes is they have to be done perfectly or you could end up with undesirable results.

Hello Comp1962, (long time no speak), i hope you are well. Thanks for the link. Yes, that is the one i was thinking about. A friend of mine has just purchased an old EX470 (headless) and wanted to know the answer. He has solved it now with your reply. Thanks so much.

Take care.

Your welcome. You should have your friend visit the site and read through the forums. As you know they are packed with information especially on the EX470.

Hello Comp1962. I have informed him of this forum and unsurprisingly, he is astounded with all he reads, LOL.

Thanks.
