Hi,

I recently Installed an eSATA drive on my EX470 to use as a backup drive. I have the Home Server SMART add-in installed. It shows the data for my internal drives just fine, but shows no S.M.A.R.T. details for the eSATA drive. I have already updated the Marvell driver to the latest version I could find (1.2.0.83) in order to get the drive to work properly. Other than not being able to read S.M.A.R.T. data, all other aspects of the drive seem to be working great. Any ideas as to what might be going on?

Thanks,

DRWebster93

Keep a copy of your current version of HomeServerSMART and try downloading the newer beta version to see if it helps out: viewtopic.php?f=2&t=13737

Comp1962, thank you for the suggestion. I just tried the beta version, but unfortunately it did not correct the issue. It still shows the blue question mark next to the drive and doesn't show any S.M.A.R.T. details.
