I am almost out of space on the c (system) partition of my EX 470. I have done all I can do to conserve space, and have very little installed on the drive besides the OS that came with the MSS. A couple of add ins and a couple of small applications. The sys volume is just small at 20GB.

So I am seeking advice on how to handle this. I need to upgrade space on the drive, but not particularly keen on reinstalling the whole works. And not particularly sure how to go about doing it in the MSS/WHS environment. Also not sure how this will impact my share drives.

How have others dealt with this situation? If there are any guides out there, I would appreciate and pointers to them as well.

thanks!

Try clearing out old logs. Go to settings in the console and click on Toolkit 1.1. Click on Log Options then delete logs. That should free up space.

I do not see any "Toolkit 1.1" or anything remotely like that in my console. Is this an add-in?

Pretty sure that it installed with PP2 or PP3. Are you up to date on power packs for your system?

If you don't have it, you can install it here:

It doesn't come with WHS, you have to install it manually.

I installed WHS Toolkit 1.0, deleted logs and it freed up a bit of space. Most effective was that I added a 1.5 TB drive to my pool. This freed up about 5GB on the system volume, so I'm in good shape now.

Thanks all!
