Well, I'm in the midst of trying to move from WHS to Amahi so that I'm set before MS completely abandons us.

Everything seems to be working fine expect that I'm having issues getting more than two drives recognized.

I know this is a bit off topic since most here are running WHS but the problem appears to be a hardware one and not software (is it possible for only slots 1 & 3 to be working?). So, I'm leaving this here in the hope that someone can point to something.

edit: mine is only with my eSata extender...only see's two of them...and nothing more.
