So I came across this yesterday. The machine boots up PERFECTLY FINE when either a keyboard or monitor is plugged into the debug board.

When trying to boot up with this stuff unplugged it hangs. I decided to plug the monitor and keyboard back in while it's hanging and see the following error message" PXE-E53 No boot filename received".

What I've done so far is, enable headless mode and remove the Realtek adapter from the boot order. I reboot headless, it still hangs. Go back into bios and the Realtek adaptor has reappeared in the boot order.

I suppose my real question is, how do I permanently remove the Realtek adaptor from the boot order? Keep in mind, with a monitor or keyboard connected via debug board, all is well. This only happens when completely headless.

Oh FFS. This is the 3rd time that I post a problem and it gets fixed immediately afterward. Fixed it completely by accident too. Sigh.

whatever.
Usually it is the j1 jumper missing that inhibits a debug from working at all.
