Can you screenshot it?

Hi Alex,

Well it was there before...I hate it when things get taken away!

I will take a look at the Health.xml file but in the meantime I saw a whole bunch of these errors in the Application log the other day;

Exception occurred: System.IO.IOException

Message: The process cannot access the file 'C:\inetpub\intranet\health\health.xml' because it is being used by another process.

Not sure what this is all about...probably nothing...

Thanks & kind regards,
-=Glyn=-

Hi,

I've installed WHS Health on my WHS and I am getting a warning message in the 'console status' screen which says 'Unapproved Port Forward' with a RED indicator to show serious error.

How can I find out more information about this please as I've logged into the WHS console clicked on the 'network health' shield in the console main view and it doesn't mention anything in there regarding this issue

Thanks

The error is being generated by another app or Add-In, I'm just passing it on for you in WHS Health. Do you have the Router Control Add-In installed? The only relevant hit I could find was this one

When WHS HEALTH lists the Shared Folders, can we have them in alpha-numeric order ??

I'm only asking, as it looks like WHS PHONE uses the health.xml file to get content, and it lists them in the same order as WHS HEALTH does.

Any chance ??

TIA.

I dont see why not. I'll add that to the list of things to do for V1 and Vail....

How do the MEDIA COUNTS work please ??

I have (yesterday and today) been ripping my music CDs to my MSS and the Music files count does not change.

WHS Health is refreshing every 1 minutes, but the count doesn't go up.

The same for the other media counts:

Photo files count - does WHS Health count up all files and folders in the Photo share, or the whole WHS ?? Is it just JPG, or all photo types ??
Video files count - as for photo count.

TIA.

They are updated when the related service (cqvsvc) does its pass, I'm not sure of the exact timings but I think it was every 4 ours and is based on files in the same named folders. It's used as part of the Media Center plug-in, and isnt unique to WHS Health, from memory it was more than 1 file type but I couldnt tell you which ones.

Hi Cougar.

The media count is the same today as it was yesterday, 1625, and I have ripped almost 100 CDs.

Out of curiosity, I scanned the Music share for MP3 files, and there are currently 1560, so less than the media count :?

Curiouser and curiouser !!

I've never been really happy with that section as its subjective in the way that it estimates the amount of files it would take etc. Will be happier when we control the code end to end in Vail....
