How do you get additional add-ins on the server so that you can load them? For example updated anti-virus? I've seen the other posts talking about other applications and where to download them. Just not sure how to get them into the add-in section of the console to get them to install.

Thanks,
Bryan

Hi Bryan,

Add-ins get deposited in the \\SERVER\Software\Add-ins folder. I wrote a free add-in called Home Server SMART Classic for WHS v1, which I recently updated. You can download it here: http://www.dojonorthsoftware.net/HomeSe ... assic.html. When you download it, drop the MSI in that server folder, and you'll see WHS v1 offer up the add-in Home Server SMART Classic v3.3.5.19 for installation.

HSS Classic monitors the health of disks in your server and alerts you on your mobile device or via email if unhealthy conditions are detected.

I can't speak for other add-ins, or whether or not they're available. Alex (yakuza) wrote a few, and there may be others floating around out there.
